Nicknamed the \"Zatopek Battalion\" for its forced marches, the 6th BPC was disbanded on May 8, 1954, after the fall of Điện Biên Phủ. Its motto: \"Believe and Dare.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eANAPI (National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees from Indochina), recognized as being of general interest, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees from Indochina between 1945 and 1954.
