Sale for the benefit of the Saint-Michel statue project.

Illustration based on the sculpture by Mr. Charbonnel (with his permission).

The project aims to restore and reinvent the 1st RHP memorial monument to make it a central, open, and living place where every hussar can reflect daily.
It is part of a transmission effort, paying tribute to all hussars who have fallen since 1720 and honoring the patron figures of Saint Michael and Saint George.
The creation of a monumental statue by sculptor Christophe Charbonnel embodies the power, memory, and spirit of commitment that unite the Bercheny family.

Saint Michael, patron saint of paratroopers and commandos
Saint Michael the Archangel has been the patron saint of French paratroopers since 1949, and more broadly, the reference figure for airborne and commando units. As the leader of the heavenly armies, he embodies the warrior who defeats evil and defends his own—the image of a standing, determined warrior who does not back down. For those who jump, who engage on the front lines, who go on external operations, he represents protection, courage, and fidelity to the mission. His feast day, September 29th, is celebrated annually in paratrooper regiments and special units.
