IN AID OF ANAPI.

"Our Fathers' Rice Fields" evokes the landscapes of Indochina — rice fields, the Tonkin and Cochinchina deltas, jungles, and high plateaus — where thousands of French soldiers from the French Far East Expeditionary Corps fought and fell between 1945 and 1954.

ANAPI (National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees of Indochina), recognized as being of public interest, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees of Indochina between 1945 and 1954. It works to preserve the memory of the combatants of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (CEFEO). Of the 40,000 prisoners in the Viet Minh camps, only 9,000 returned.

Enamelled mug "Our Fathers' Rice Fields". Lightweight, durable, perfect for bivouacking. Hand wash only.

For the benefit of ANAPI

The National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees from Indochina (ANAPI) is a French organization founded in November 1985. Its mission is to identify and bring together former French prisoners, internees, and deportees captured in the Far East during World War II, the Indochina War, and the Korean War. This includes civilian and military prisoners of the Imperial Japanese Army, the Viet Minh, and the North Koreans.
