"For honor and comrades" evokes the brotherhood in arms of French paratroopers in Indochina, particularly those who jumped into the Diên Biên Phu basin in 1954 when the fate of the battle was already sealed. A phrase that summarizes the spirit of General Bigeard's men, who went to join their comrades no matter the cost.

ANAPI (National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees of Indochina), recognized as being of public interest, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees of Indochina between 1945 and 1954. It works to preserve the memory of the combatants of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (CEFEO). Of the 40,000 prisoners in Việt Minh camps, only 9,000 returned.
