The Commando de Recherche et d'Action en Jungle (CRAJ) is the elite unit of the 9th Marine Infantry Regiment (9th RIMa) of the French Armed Forces in Guyana (FAG), based in Cayenne. Created in July 1998, this specialized unit has the dual mission of training units called to operate in an equatorial environment and conducting jungle combat missions. This "Aquatic Action" variant patch pays tribute to the maritime and nautical aspect of CRAJ missions.
