FOR THE BENEFIT OF ANAPI.

"The Time of the Lizards" refers to the French paratroopers in Indochina, who wore the camouflage uniform nicknamed "the lizard" — a characteristic spotted fatigues of colonial paratroopers in the years 1947-1954. This iconic uniform became a symbol of the battles fought in Indochina, from Tu Lê to the jump on Diên Biên Phu.

ANAPI (National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees of Indochina), recognized as being of public utility, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees of Indochina between 1945 and 1954. It works to preserve the memory of the fighters of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (CEFEO). Of the 40,000 prisoners in Viêt-Minh camps, only 9,000 returned.
