"For Honor and Comrades" evokes the camaraderie of French paratroopers in Indochina, particularly those who jumped into the Diên Biên Phu basin in 1954 when the battle's fate was already sealed. This phrase summarizes the spirit of General Bigeard's men, who went to join their comrades at all costs.

ANAPI (National Association of Former Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees of Indochina), recognized as being of general interest, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees of Indochina between 1945 and 1954. It works to preserve the memory of the fighters of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (CEFEO). Of the 40,000 prisoners in Viêt-Minh camps, only 9,000 returned.
