"For honor and comrades" evokes the brotherhood of arms of French paratroopers in Indochina, particularly those who jumped into the Dien Bien Phu basin in 1954 when the battle's outcome was already sealed. A phrase that summarizes the spirit of General Bigeard's men, who went to join their comrades at all costs.

ANAPI (National Association of Former Indochina Prisoners, Internees, and Deportees), recognized as being of general interest, brings together former prisoners, internees, and deportees from Indochina between 1945 and 1954. It works to preserve the memory of the combatants of the French Far East Expeditionary Corps (CEFEO). Of the 40,000 prisoners in Viet Minh camps, only 9,000 returned.
